Totally useless, January 20, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: True Depth 3D Glasses for Panasonic 3D TVs! (1 Pair) (Electronics) I own a Panasonic TC-P50VT25X. The instructions-all 4 senteces of them, are wrong. It says to press the power button once and the "RED" LED blinks once. (It is a BLUE LED) Stood 3 feet away from TV for several minutes, nothing happening. I tried pressing the button several times, turned it off, back on, still nothing. I set the glasses less than a foot from the TV for several minutes, still nothing. Made sure glasses were truned on and put them on. I stepped forward for one of my other pare of glasses and suddennly these started cycling through several modes (apparently searching). One of the modes looked excellent, but the glasses kept right on cycling and would not stop. After close to 5 minutes I finally powered them off. I have tried to get them to even go back to the "cycling" mode again without luck. Instructions are useless. Placed the glasses (on) less than a foot away from the TV for several minutes and tried the same at several distances. Nothing happens... Read more

A LOT FOR THE MONEY, February 2, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: True Depth 3D Glasses for Panasonic 3D TVs! (1 Pair) (Electronics) Pros: I got two pairs of these glasses as a birthday gift from my mom. When I opened the package I was surprised to see glasses from a brand other than panasonic. I had also purchased a pair of panasonic glasses for more than double the money, so I got a chance to compare the build quality and image quality from both pairs.
What a pleasant surprise I got. The build quality of the True Depth glasses was every bit as good as the panasonics and the viewing experience was identical. They have easy to see, but very unobrusive LED indicators and turn themselves off. Neeless to say the panasonics went back and I am using the True Depth glasses almost daily. I liked them so much I ordered a single pair from Amazon so everyone could watch. I think 3D is pretty fun. My son told me the other day that the images were just like snorkeling in Mexico.
Cons: I don't know if this is a con or not depending on your attitude, but the panasonics can be charged with a USB port, the True Depth... Read more

Pros: They are a great price and work well with my tv. No sync problems and I like the fact that they are replaceable batteries as opposed to rechargeable, so if/when my battery runs down I will be able to get a new battery.
Cons: I believe the Panasonic brand glasses have a better refresh style, limiting flicker with glasses in 3D mode. Also, genuine Panasonic glasses have better color. That being said, those are quite a bit more expensive and difficult to find. I'll probably have one genuine pair for myself and get a handful of the True Depth 3D glasses for guests. I know, I'm a great host lol :)
