Great hardware, awful image quality, September 26, 2011 This review is from: ITV Goggles Wideview XL Edition 72" Virtual Screen (Electronics) I am very disappointed. I love everything about this product EXCEPT THE IMAGE QUALITY, that's why I rated it with 2 stars. I mean, it's a virtual TV, the image quality has to be AT LEAST worth 3 stars, right?
I'm a gamer and I watch blu-ray quality movies in my alienware PC. It's not the best screen in the market but it is a pretty good one and does a great job. So naturally I was expecting maybe not the same quality but at least something close, but no. You can actually see the the pixels that make up the LCD if you pay close attention.
I have an actual 46" LCD TV placed exactly 7 feet away from the couch. They claim the virtual TV is seen as a 72" tv from that same distance. So I did a test and from my couch I compared the sizes of both TV's. Turns out the virtual tv is at most around 50 or 55 inches. I can only imagine what the virtual 50" tv would have looked like (the yellow itv goggles had been my first choice)

Loved this product, October 20, 2011 By This review is from: ITV Goggles Wideview XL Edition 72" Virtual Screen (Electronics) I first saw the iTV goggles on the discovery channel, and theey seemed reallt cool... the experts on the show were so impressed, i thought its worth a try. I did my own research and I decided to get one. I ended up ordering a pair from their site and they got here in less than 2 days. I'm still playing around with them, they are really neat. I came on here to order another one for my nephew and thought I share my take.
